Welcome to the Malaria Group page. Glad you found us. On this page, we try to provide timely information about who we are and what we do, and share our latest news and publications. We hope this page offers relevant information for everyone who visits.

Who we are and what we do

We are a diverse team of Malawian and international scientists and trainees. With our research, we aim to improve understanding of malaria in individuals and communities, to accelerate malaria transmission reduction in Malawi and sub-Saharan Africa. We focus on addressing questions of national and global relevance that can contribute to tangible improvement in health in the region.

More about us

Apart from our research, we provide internships and postgraduate training and support the use of evidence-informed decision making through our collaboration with the National Malaria Control Programme and our involvement in national and international advisory panels.
